WELCOME TO THE VIEW RIDGE COMMUNITY COUNCIL
The Council currently serves households situated between Sand Point Way on the East, 40th Avenue NE on the West, NE 65th Street on the South, and NE 75th Street on the North. It also includes the area known as Aviation Heights, and a few neighbors on nearby streets. Our goal is to channel the hopes, visions and desires of the community members in our little slice of Seattle to make View Ridge an amazing place to live.

Interest Group
Track and summarize city planning or zoning proposals that affect View Ridge.
Work with nearby councils (e.g., Hawthorne Hills) to share information and feedback.
Help neighbors understand how development impacts livability and advocate for balanced growth.

Interest Group
Partner with Seattle Police and neighbors to share safety updates and concerns.
Promote community emergency preparedness through training and Emergency Hubs
Advocate for safer streets, crosswalks, and traffic calming where needed.
Trees & Green Space
Interest Group
Promote protection and planting of trees and green areas in View Ridge.
Collaborate with city departments on maintenance and sustainability projects.
Advocate for preserving open spaces as development increases.
