The Seattle Police Department (SPD) will be hosting a public safety forum on Tuesday, July 15 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The event will be held at the Magnuson Park Community Center in the multipurpose room. The center is located at 7110 62nd Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98115. Space is limited, so if you want to attend you need to RSVP online. SPD Police Chief Shon Barnes is holding forums across Seattle to share his vision for Seattle-centric policing, and to engage community in discussions about public safety and public health solutions for the city. The forum will have representatives from SPD, the Seattle Fire Department, the CARE department, Parks, Seattle Public Utilities, the Department of Human Services, and the Department of Transportation.
