Hello all,
I organized a meeting for our Windermere community with Sarah Lawson (details below) but wanted to also extend the invitation to you and our neighboring communities that are impacted by safety at Magnuson issues.
The focus of this meeting will be Sarah’s recommendations to us on safety and Block Watch program guidelines. But she has invited someone from her Chain of Command to speak to any questions about Magnuson and the Chief of Public Safety (or representative ) to speak to Qs about crime in the city.
Please feel free to extend this invitation to folks in your community that you think would be interested in this meeting. If they can RSVP to <windermereneighborhoodseattle@gmail.com> that would be great so we have an idea of # of folks attending.
Best regards,
Liz Loy

Subject: Personal and Property Safety Meeting – March 25
Please join us for a Personal and Property Safety Meeting on March 25, from 6-7:30pm. We are meeting at St Bridget Church community room, 4900 NE 50th St.
This informative meeting will be led by Sarah Lawson, Crime Prevention Coordinator at the Seattle Police Department, as well as officers in her chain of command.
The Chief of Public Safety from the Mayor’s office is also planning to attend, and can answer questions about the plans to address crime in our community.
Sarah’s role with the police department is to work with and educate communities on personal and property safety recommendations. We have also asked her to provide recommendations on implementing an effective Block Watch program, so we strongly encourage anyone who would like to volunteer as a Block Watch Captain to please attend this meeting.
Please RSVP by replying to this email by March 20, if you plan to attend. Thank you.
