FIRST – thanks for everyone who read our last post. I promise – these will not be daily going forward. We are aiming for a cadence of monthly or bi-weekly, but I made an error in the email of Andrew Taylor and need to correct this (and as someone who regularly needs to assert their own “o”, I am mortified. Second (and finally) – we have a tentative agenda for our NE District Council Meeting (open to all) at June 4, 6pm at the NE Library (6801 35th):
1. Brief Intros – to build community
2. a round of Petals and Thorns – something your group is succeeding at and somewhere your challenged and could use some help/feedback from the whole.
3. General Discussion of ideas and topics for future meetings – what are our priorities as a neighborhood? How do we want to use our collective power?
Note! We are a non-partisan group united around our shared love for the places we live, work, play and raise families. This is not about politics or ideologies – but rather about helping us all live together in peace, joy and harmony.
