Hello Neighbors,

I know many of you will be very excited to get this news: The Seattle Public Library let us know that the Northeast Library Branch will re-open Monday, March 4.

The branch temporarily closed in November 2023 for major renovations. The work included modernization of its mechanical and electrical systems and the replacement of its gas-powered furnace with an electric HVAC system, reducing our carbon footprint. The new HVAC system provides improved ventilation and air conditioning, which will help prevent unplanned closures during hot weather.

More information is available online: https://www.spl.org/hours-and-locations/northeast-branch

The library staff are excited to welcome their community again and have been busily preparing for the re-opening on Monday.
So many books, so much fun!

Sincerely,
